We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Interstate Therapy Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with athletes and possess the skills necessary to prevent, assess, and treat a variety of injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage during practices and events at local high schools, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of athletes.
- Assess and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries in accordance with best practices and protocols.
- Develop and implement reconditioning programs to help athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and prevent recurrence.
- Build and maintain working relationships with area schools and industries to provide offsite outreach specialty programs.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital, athletes, parents, coaches, school administration, and supervising physician, coordinating care and referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited CAATE program.
- Current BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
- AHA BLS required.
- 1 year of experience in the high school or college setting preferred.
