Job Title: Line Haul Truck Driver

At JNL Brown Trucking Corp, we are seeking a skilled Line Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Line Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a predetermined delivery route, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. This role is ideal for experienced truck drivers who value a set schedule and a stable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples, on a predetermined delivery route.
  • Make deliveries on schedule, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations.
  • Inspect the vehicle for maintenance issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and other drivers.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple endorsement.
  • Must have at least one year of experience within the last three years or complete the required Freight Driver Development Course.
  • Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.
  • Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
Working Conditions:
  • Drive throughout the shift on various roads and in different weather conditions.
  • Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and diesel fumes.
  • Exposure to hazardous materials shipped and packaged under DOT regulations.
  • Hours may vary due to operational needs.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a mileage-based pay rate of $0.63 - $0.68 per mile, as well as benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid orientation, paid time off, and vision insurance.
