Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at StoryPoint of Libertyville. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Meals with Excellence: Serve meals in a professional manner, demonstrating a genuine concern to please residents and guests.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Sanitation: Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professional behavior, and practice good personal hygiene to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work as a Team Member: Wait on tables, assist other staff as needed, and work collaboratively with the food service team to ensure seamless service.
  • Handle Resident Concerns: Tactfully and professionally handle resident concerns and complaints in a timely and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Previous Restaurant Experience: Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service, and consistently display an attitude that fosters a teamwork environment.
Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. Employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
