Position Overview:

We are in search of a motivated and skilled Permanent Telecom Construction Project Manager to take charge of our dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of fiber internet deployment projects, from initial planning through to the successful delivery of high-speed fiber internet services.

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a robust understanding of project management methodologies, along with a successful history of overseeing telecom construction initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage all facets of telecom construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Lead the permitting process and collaborate with relevant authorities to secure all necessary permits.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, identifying potential challenges or delays and implementing effective solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments for each project, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Utilize project management tools to track timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Inspire and lead project teams to achieve objectives and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to ensure optimal project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom construction project management, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in fiber internet installation projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in permitting and compliance processes.
  • Excellent risk assessment and management capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiently identifying and resolving project issues.
