Fiber Optic Repair & Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Prince Telecom is seeking a dynamic leader to supervise all construction operations in accordance with customer and industry specifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of fiber optic experience and a high school diploma or G.E.D. The supervisor will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization, supervising day-to-day activities/project teams and project progress, and establishing administrative guidance on project execution and ensuring compliance with predetermined project deliverables. The supervisor will also ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports, identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve. Additionally, the supervisor will understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues, supervise staff to ensure the organization's activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards, and perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee compliance. The supervisor will be a team player with supervisory experience preferred and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization
  • Supervise day-to-day activities/project teams and project progress
  • Establish administrative guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year fiber optic experience
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must live within 80 miles of Charlotte, NC
  • Must be able to work a very flexible schedule
  • Team player
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license
