Job Summary
Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital at Lutheran Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide quality nutritional care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to develop and implement effective nutrition care plans.
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.
- Act as Food Service supervisor as needed, ensuring seamless daily operations.
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients and staff, enhancing knowledge and skills in nutrition and wellness.
- Maintain current ADA requirements and oversee Food and Nutrition departmental office systems.
- Assume Food Service manager duties during scheduled weekends, holidays, or covering vacation shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
- Current state licensure/certification (if required).
- Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
- One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.
