Your Role: The Regional Safety Coordinator will work closely with the HSE Director and collaborate with operational, safety, and HR leaders within the designated region. This role is crucial in supporting and guiding the region to meet the company’s health and safety objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the execution and management of the Company Safety Program, including the formulation of site-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Facilitating training sessions, onboarding for new hires, and conducting safety meetings.
- Performing a variety of safety inspections and monitoring activities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations across all industry operations.
- Conducting unannounced safety inspections of job sites, equipment, and personnel.
- Continuously researching and implementing safety best practices and industry standards.
- Acting as a liaison between employees and management to enhance local retention initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relevant experience in safety disciplines.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver training programs is advantageous.
- OSHA/MSHA Trainer Certifications are a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-related role.
- Ability to perform duties in diverse work environments, including various weather conditions and terrains.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with employees.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate team members on-site.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, using hands, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
