Project Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Safety Coordinator to join our team at Kraemer North America in the Mountain West Region (Colorado). The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and continuously improving safety protocols to minimize incidents and maintain operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Safety or a related field, with extensive coursework in Risk Management and Loss Control, Construction Management, Industrial Hygiene, and Behavioral Based Safety. Previous safety leadership experience in the construction industry is preferred, as is professional safety certification such as the Construction Safety & Health Technician (CSHT) designation.
The Project Safety Coordinator will work closely with field supervision to assess and document work practices, follow up on corrective action processes, and coordinate safety-related training programs. They will also act as the project's representative in all areas of occupational safety and health, assist project management in Work Activity Planning, and develop Site Specific Safety Plans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring site conditions, communicating safety-related issues through regular updates and meetings, and assisting with the application of industrial hygiene procedures. They will also investigate serious incidents of loss, analyze statistical information, and provide recommendations for improved performance.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
