Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and meticulous In-House Contract Attorney with up to two years of experience, eager to acquire practical knowledge in contract law within the sports sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts while ensuring adherence to legal standards and corporate policies. This attorney will also function as in-house legal counsel for Golfzon America Inc.

Key Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sales contracts, construction contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to facilitate contract development and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance of all contracts with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand their requirements and provide legal insights.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of contract templates and standard forms.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any arising issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in contract law and industry practices.
  • Coordinate with the Global HQ legal team on various tasks and projects as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in Virginia or eligibility for admission.
  • Up to two years of experience in contract law.
  • Strong grasp of contract law principles and practices.
  • Exceptional legal research and analytical capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with contract management software.
  • Experience in entertainment law, sports management, construction, or regulations related to the golf industry.
  • Background in the golf or sports industry is advantageous.
