About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team at United Auto Group, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional automotive experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in servicing, repairing, and explaining the services needed for their vehicles.
  • Understand customer requirements and match them with various service options.
  • Explain the services being performed and keep customers informed and updated throughout the service process.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, features, accessories, and attend product training as required.
  • Maintain a service customer follow-up system that supports repeat and referral business and contributes to customer happiness.
  • Hire and supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitor their performance in servicing customers.
  • Craft goals and objectives for the department, including an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to promote new business.
  • Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a service manager.
  • A strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • A high school diploma or higher education.
  • A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • A driven personality, eager to improve, and able to work within and support internal teams.
