  • Supervises and assigns tasks to Bakery Team Members effectively.
  • Collaborates with the Bakery Trainer to develop Team Members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Assists in onboarding new Team Members, utilizing established training materials.
  • Ensures cleanliness and proper stock rotation of all displays and shelves.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the department following established protocols.
  • Guarantees that all breaks are appropriately scheduled.
  • Communicates any team concerns to the Bakery Team Leader.

Experience Requirements

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires standing or walking for 6-8 hours during a workday.
  • Involves hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling.
  • Work may require bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to approved cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to work in both wet and dry conditions.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Capability to operate tools and equipment, including knives and electric pallet jacks.
  • May require the use of ladders.
