Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading a customer-focused, top-line sales-driven, profitable, and productive store location.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized store, promoting a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Perform as the floor supervisor role as needed to cover non-peak periods.
  • Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience with all customers.
  • Hold self and others responsible for the accomplishment of all operational tasks.
  • Coach and provide feedback on Sales Associate's performance.
  • Support associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Provide direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standards.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet all operational needs.
  • Support and execute visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company.
  • Drive efficiency in all operational store processes.
  • Maintain merchandise flow, filling, and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroom.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized stockroom and store, promoting a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Ensure all store associates follow all policies, procedures, and all Safety Program practices.
  • Reflect the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
  • Inspire and motivate others by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.
  • Demonstrate willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn what is unknown about product, brands, fashion, and trends.
Requirements
  • Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.
Physical Requirements
  • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • The associate must frequently sit/stand for long periods of time and climb ladders as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; as well as reach, twist, or squat.
  • Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required for SM and above roles only.
Working Hours

This is a full-time position. Ability to work 32-40 hours a week is required. As a National Retailer, flexibility with work schedule (able to work weekends, nights, peak holiday periods) is required.
