Key Responsibilities

Under the mentorship of a seasoned Butcher: Execute Butcher tasks, which include but are not limited to: cutting, plating, and showcasing meat products to achieve profit margins; preparing specialty meat items; verifying product quality to meet WFM standards; maintaining sampling initiatives; maximizing sales opportunities; monitoring and assisting in spoilage prevention. Deliver exceptional customer service, promptly addressing customer inquiries, demonstrating suggestive selling techniques, and responding to calls and pages courteously. Adhere to established procedures, including Food Safety, Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe working practices. Arrive at the workstation punctually, appropriately groomed, dressed, and prepared to work; fulfill all scheduled shifts and participate in required training and meetings. Perform opening, mid, and closing tasks as assigned; ensure accuracy of signage and pricing.

The wage range for this position is $19.15 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
