We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Agility Partners. As a key member of our App Dev department, you will collaborate with our team to ensure the release of high-quality software.

Your primary responsibility will be to create, execute, and maintain automated functional and performance tests to validate software quality and drive regression testing across products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software quality meets business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain automated test triggering through the continuous integration/continuous delivery tool to ensure quality of delivery for all code deployments.
  • Think "outside the box" during testing to understand various customer scenarios and configurations to maintain customer quality and drive regression testing.
  • Define and drive innovative automation testing strategies and toolsets into development processes to enhance Quality Assurance processes.
  • Participate in test planning and execution, including functional, integration, regression, and performance/load testing.
  • Collaborate with teams to define current and future system/application performance and load requirements.
  • Work with SCRUM teams to create effective test cases and plans in each sprint cycle.
  • Collaborate with Senior QE Analyst(s) to maintain Automation testing best practices.
  • Participate in design and technical discussions.
  • Follow a detailed technical roadmap aligned with the product vision across different business functions.
  • Mentor junior software testers/team members.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of committed tests, test plan creation, execution, and results reporting.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation.
  • Required: TypeScript, Playwright, WDIO, Cypress.
  • Ability to lead and mentor, work independently, develop projects from scratch, Page Object Model, understanding of object principles.
  • Preferred: Experience with design patterns.
  • Supervision/Leadership: Minimal supervision; Not applicable to supervisory responsibility.
  • Communication & Influence: Senior management or executive leadership within the department.
  • Problem Solving & Complexity: Highly complex; Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes and systems.
  • Organizational Impact: Establishes objectives for the overall direction of the department; Decisions have a significant impact on the results of the job sub-function or function.
