Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our team at the Stanford University Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences. The successful candidate will work closely with our research team to coordinate and manage clinical research studies, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and manage research participants for clinical studies, including obtaining informed consent and coordinating study visits.
  • Coordinate the collection and management of patient and laboratory data, including developing and maintaining research project databases.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements, including preparing and submitting regulatory documents.
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement recruitment strategies and study protocols.
  • Provide administrative support to the research team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical research coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and research protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with neuroimaging research and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of research software applications, including FreeSurfer, SPM, and R.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
