Certification Requirements

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Sleep Technologist who will:

  • Patient Assessment: Gather, evaluate, and synthesize patient data to address individual patient needs.
  • Data Integration: Connect and manage data outputs from capnographs, oximeters, and respiratory inductive plethysmographs to electrophysiologic amplifiers and computer-based recording systems.
  • Testing Protocols: Collaborate with the ordering physician or clinical director to establish final testing parameters and procedures in line with laboratory standards.
Candidate Requirements
  • Candidates must have a permanent residence outside a 50-mile radius of Madison.
  • Experience in a clinical environment is essential.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a sleep laboratory is required.
  • Completion of a prior traveler assignment lasting 13 weeks is necessary.
Scheduling Information

Only candidates who can accommodate the posted schedule and are interested in the unit should be considered.

Unit Specific Details
  • Travelers will be prioritized for floating to units that work with pediatric patients up to one year of age, based on their skills and experience.
  • Shifts may be assigned across multiple units depending on staffing requirements and organizational needs.
  • If the primary unit's needs change, shifts will be reassigned to ensure contract completion.
