Key Responsibilities:
  • Mental Health Services: Provide high-quality mental health services to members, including individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention and stabilization.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each member, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, including with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement.
  • Experience: Previous experience in mental health treatment, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting, under licensed supervision.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to quality of service and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-Licensure Experience: Previous experience as a licensed mental health professional, preferably in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Specialized Training: Training in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and behavioral medicine.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff members, preferably in a mental health setting.
