Gold\u0027s Gym PNW is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Exercise Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our fitness team, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging fitness environment, teaching group fitness classes, and managing a team of instructors across 4 gyms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Conduct high-energy and motivating group exercise classes, with a focus on Les Mills programming, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Instructor Management: Recruit, hire, and train qualified instructors, and provide ongoing support and guidance to maintain class quality and consistency.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage class schedules, ensuring a diverse offering of classes that cater to our members\u0027 preferences.
  • Auditions: Organize instructor auditions and evaluations, selecting the best talent to join our team.
  • Administrative Tasks: Dedicate time to administrative duties such as class scheduling, payroll management, and communication with instructors and members.
  • Member Engagement: Foster a sense of community among class participants and actively engage with members to ensure their fitness goals are met.
Requirements
  • Passion for fitness and a deep understanding of Les Mills programming.
  • Group exercise instruction certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, Les Mills) preferred.
  • Previous experience in teaching and coordinating group exercise classes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on class schedules.
