Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a skilled and passionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to enhance our Electrophysiology team.

As an APP specializing in Electrophysiology, you will be integral to the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients experiencing complex cardiac arrhythmias and associated conditions. Collaborating closely with our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, you will contribute to the provision of exceptional, patient-focused care and engage in advanced treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing history collection, physical assessments, and analysis of diagnostic tests such as ECGs and Holter monitors.
  • Formulate and execute evidence-based treatment strategies, which may include medication management and procedural interventions (e.g., pacemaker and defibrillator placements, ablation procedures).
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment approaches as required.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding cardiac disorders, treatment alternatives, and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions, case reviews, and quality enhancement initiatives to improve patient care results.
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation within electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiology, or a related field as an Advanced Practice Provider.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise, critical thinking abilities, and a capacity to excel in a collaborative team setting.
