Your Opportunity

Operational Services Account Solutions (OSAS) serves as the core operational division for Investor Services New Accounts. Our mission is to cultivate client loyalty by precisely and efficiently addressing our clients' requirements, while emphasizing employee growth and teamwork.

As a valued member of our OSAS team, your primary focus will be on the initiation of new accounts. You will be tasked with processing applications and assessing client communications. Below is a summary of your key responsibilities as an Associate.

+ Evaluate and process Schwab account applications, utilizing sound business judgment and effectively managing risk to the organization.

+ Engage in meaningful conversations to discover methods to minimize client effort and enhance the overall client experience, while actively attuning to client feedback.

+ Exhibit a positive demeanor and adept problem-solving skills while assisting Schwab clients in establishing their accounts, alongside conducting thorough research and follow-up in a dynamic environment.

+ Interact with clients and business partners through various communication channels, establishing clear points of contact for ongoing support and escalations.

+ Show adaptability and collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service, meet client expectations, and support business partners.

+ Effectively manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency while maintaining high productivity levels.

What You Have

+ A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in financial services with the potential for licensure.

+ Strong analytical abilities and capacity to multitask, executing several complex tasks with exceptional attention to detail.

+ Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency, capable of utilizing at least five different applications simultaneously, including Windows, internet research, database systems, and email.

+ Ability to operate within a structured environment during designated hours as dictated by business needs.

+ Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

+ Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

+ A collaborative and relational work style with a proven track record of success in a team setting.

+ A positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, coupled with a high level of integrity and ethics.

+ Proficiently organizes, assembles, and allocates resources to achieve departmental objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Basic to intermediate understanding of investment products and industry regulations, with the ability to articulate these complex topics over the phone.

+ At least two years of college coursework in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; a degree is preferred.

+ A minimum of one year of professional experience, ideally in financial services, operations, or client support.

+ Previous experience in a dual monitor setup and the ability to utilize over seven applications concurrently.

In addition to the competitive salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
