Job Title: Support Technician

RK&K is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Support Technician to join our IT/Support team in our Baltimore, MD office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and support a help-desk management queue and provide technical assistance to staff members.
  • Assist with computer systems administration and support, including backup, security management, user account management, and application support.
  • Provide technical support for desktop, network, and virtual hardware, software, and applications.
  • Familiarity with building, loading, and upgrading desktop systems.
  • Ability to integrate Cybersecurity into daily activities and assist with security measures on networks and/or systems.
  • Implement technology needs analysis end-to-end and configure and distribute hardware and software as required.
  • Assist in planning, implementation, and support for network and computing infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage assigned tasks and workload.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years current experience supporting IT hardware, software, and systems for 1000 users.
  • Familiarity with help-desk related operations and software, able to take on and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SCCM or related imaging, configuration tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and related support issues.
  • Experience serving as an Administrator on a medium-sized network of servers, desktop systems, and communications devices using current technologies.
  • Specialized certification and strongly recommended (MCSE, A).
  • Proven ability to perform continuous monitoring activities.
  • Technical writing ability to develop documentation for both end-users and internal IT staff guidance.
