Job Description

The VP, People and Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, managing talent acquisition, development, and retention, and driving initiatives that foster a positive, results-oriented, and inclusive workplace culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Culture & Employee Experience: Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a strong, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture that reflects the company's values. Drive initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and retention, ensuring the company remains an employer of choice in the omnichannel CPG industry.
  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to ensure we attract and retain top talent that aligns with the company's values and strategic goals. Develop and manage talent development programs, including training, performance management, and succession planning, to foster continuous growth and career progression.
  • People Integrations: Lead the people integration process during company mergers, acquisitions, or other structural changes to support the company's growth strategy. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful integration of new teams and employees into the company.
  • HR Strategy & Operations: Develop and implement people strategies and initiatives that support business objectives, particularly in a rapidly evolving omnichannel environment. Ensure HR operations, policies, and practices are efficient, compliant, and scalable, enabling the company to grow while maintaining a high level of employee engagement.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the development and implementation of performance management systems that drive high performance, accountability, and alignment with company goals. Provide guidance on setting clear objectives, offering continuous feedback, and creating a growth mindset within teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, or related fields, with a proven track record in an e-commerce or CPG company.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align people strategies with business goals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization. Expertise in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Cultural Fit: A passion for fostering a positive workplace culture, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth omnichannel environment and handle multiple priorities with ease.

Salary and Benefits

$220,000-$260,000 + Bonus + Equity. Comprehensive benefit plans with free premium options, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with supplemental coverage options. Free life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability. 401(k) plan with a company match of 50% of the first 6% with only 1 year of vesting. Unlimited vacation and generous sick time.
