We pride ourselves on delivering warm and knowledgeable service to our visitors. Guests who arrive at our estate are treated to a unique experience, including tours of our beautiful grounds, winery, and cave. Our team interacts with guests, introduces them to our wine club, showcases our exquisite wines, and shares the rich family heritage, the Petaluma Gap AVA, and the intricate winemaking process behind our offerings. Throughout their visit, we ensure that all guests feel welcomed and comfortable, while appreciating the breathtaking views we have to offer.
We are looking for a full-time team member (30-40 hours per week) who thrives in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. Our tasting room operates from Wednesday to Sunday.
Qualifications:- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to drive sales and encourage wine club memberships.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team and management to achieve sales and club objectives.
- A genuine passion for the wine industry and a customer-focused approach.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in winery or restaurant wine sales.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, navigate stairs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Engage with guests during tours, tastings, and wine club presentations, delivering exceptional hospitality and utilizing your wine knowledge.
- Share insights about California wine regions, focusing on wines produced by Keller Estate.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming environment for both new visitors and returning members.
- Efficiently operate Register/POS systems, including capturing guest information and processing orders.
- Preferred: Current TIPS Certification.
- Conduct outreach initiatives to attract new visitors and wine enthusiasts.
- Perform general support tasks, including restocking wine displays, maintaining the Tasting Room, and handling administrative duties.
We offer a competitive pay scale starting at $25.00 per hour (based on experience), along with:
