Director, Full Stack Software Engineering - Enterprise Technology

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our expanding management team responsible for overseeing software engineers dedicated to the development and maintenance of various internal applications. As a Software Engineering Leader within Enterprise Technology, you will combine extensive engineering expertise with a strong grasp of cutting-edge technologies, all while fostering a culture of mentorship and professional growth among team members.

Building and nurturing a robust sense of community and collaboration within your team, as well as across other departments, is essential—it holds equal importance to the technological choices we make.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Preferred degree in Computer Science or Software/Systems Engineering
  • Over 10 years of experience in engineering and development
  • At least 4 years of direct experience managing a team of software engineers, including responsibilities such as hiring, supervising, motivating, mentoring, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise-scale software solutions using Java and a UI framework like Angular
  • Proficient in Cloud-Native Engineering and DevOps practices within AWS
  • Experience with SaaS solutions (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) is advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams
  • A genuine curiosity to foster a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a knack for quickly assimilating information and anticipating changes
  • Solid comprehension of how to create and sustain a vibrant community of developers who enjoy collaboration and sharing innovative ideas.
