  • Formulate, execute, and oversee procurement strategies aimed at achieving cost efficiency.
  • Administer supplier and vendor contracts to ensure adherence to commercial, legal, and contractual obligations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify the nature and functionality of procured equipment.
  • Facilitate effective communication between vendors and engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery timelines for each equipment item.
  • Coordinate efforts within your discipline and across other disciplines.
  • Support and contribute to the establishment of client design and production standards.
  • Maintain an organized workspace to enhance access to project information for team members.
  • Participate in regular equipment team meetings.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and the National Electrical Code is beneficial.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in your design specialty through ongoing education and reviews.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer tools for procurement operations.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and independent judgment.
  • Effectively delegate tasks and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Skilled in a PC/windows environment with experience in email, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.

A Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree is required, preferably with a concentration in electrical engineering.

EIT certification is preferred, and eligibility for PE certification is advantageous.

Possess a valid driver's license and have over one year of relevant design experience.
