Job Title: Structural Revit Technician

We are seeking a skilled Structural Revit Technician to join our team at Farnsworth Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist structural engineers in providing building information modeling (BIM) services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types.
  • Prepare Structural construction documents, including plans, elevations, schedules, and details.
  • Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines.
  • Perform redline drafting.
  • Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related degree or combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Revit.
  • Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions.
  • Ability to balance several projects at once.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Building Structures preferred.
  • Experience with Navisworks preferred.
  • Revit or Autodesk Certification preferred.
