Position Overview:
Fairview Range is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to enhance our specialty care services at the Fairview Mesaba Clinic.
In this role, you will deliver exceptional healthcare services to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, encompassing a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care.
Through our collaboration with M Health Fairview, your primary care provider can seamlessly connect you to specialized physicians and advanced medical services provided by University of Minnesota Physicians.
The LPN/MA acts as a vital clinical and organizational resource, assisting Clinic Providers and Support Services in the effective coordination of nursing care delivery.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, requiring 32-59 hours every two weeks, with 8-hour Day/Evening shifts and occasional weekend coverage. While primarily based in Hibbing, flexibility to provide support in other locations may be required.

About Mesaba Clinic:
Our clinic features over 60 service lines, with specialty care provided by more than 35 providers and 40 support staff in Hibbing and Mountain Iron. Our specialty departments include surgical services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, allergy, wound care, podiatry, and more.
The care team comprises Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RN Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, MAs, and Patient Access Coordinators, all working collaboratively within a hospital-based clinic system.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA), your responsibilities will include:

4. Facilitating the exchange and thoughtful examination of information, clearly defining objectives, and developing actionable plans.
5. Showcasing proficiency in making informed decisions, operating independently, and addressing the diverse needs of patient care.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. Current Minnesota LPN Licensure or current Minnesota MA Certification (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
2. Current BLS certification or attendance in a BLS class within six months of employment, with maintenance of certification.
Preferred:
1. Previous nursing experience is preferred.
