Job Summary

Altice USA is seeking a skilled Collections Coordinator to minimize outstanding receivables and bad debt through effective communication with customers, responding to inquiries, and reviewing exception reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to collect debt in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to the Sales team regarding accounts flagged as Fraud or non-serviceable to determine eligibility for sale or service.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing and collections processes, account transactions, and customer concerns.
  • Identify and resolve customer accounts that are outliers on exception reporting, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to collections timelines.
  • Process and document credit card and check payments over the phone, adhering to PCI standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to collection of outstanding dues, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Communicate customer issues to other departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Knowledge of billing system collections modules and/or order processing preferred.
