Position Overview:

The Radiology Technologist serves as the initial point of contact for patients at the facility. Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and checking in patients, ensuring accurate information verification.
  • Scheduling appointments and updating Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Facilitating intake processes, including the completion of healthcare and insurance documentation.
  • Collecting payments for services rendered.
  • Building trust and rapport with patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues through effective communication and professional conduct.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficient in understanding insurance policies and patient billing procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

It is crucial to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory guidelines while delivering optimal care. The position may also involve training new staff members.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with occasional weekend requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay range from $28.06 to $35.06 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package available for eligible roles.
