Position Summary

In the role of Senior Game Acquisition Specialist at Snail Games USA, you will play a crucial part in spotting and assessing new gaming trends, indie titles, and potential acquisitions that align with our strategic vision. Your insights will be vital in ensuring we remain at the forefront of the ever-evolving gaming landscape.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate innovative game concepts and emerging trends within the gaming sector.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with game developers, studios, and agents to secure exclusive opportunities.
  • Assess game mechanics, narrative quality, and overall commercial viability.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Participate in industry conferences, gaming expos, and networking events to gather insights and foster connections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure scouting initiatives align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Negotiate terms and facilitate initial discussions for prospective game acquisitions or partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in game scouting, game design, or a comparable role within the gaming industry.
  • In-depth understanding of game mechanics and a strong ability to identify emerging trends.
  • Exceptional networking capabilities with a proven history of cultivating industry relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in presenting findings.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the position.

Compensation

Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
