Job Description

At Water Grill Los Angeles, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Front Desk Crewmember, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including seating guests, taking reservations, and handling guest inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages with food.
  • High school education.
  • Current CA Food Handler's Card.
  • Ability to communicate in a satisfactory manner, both verbal and written English.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to maintain complete knowledge of the front desk standards.
  • Previous experience in Guest relations or providing Guest service is an asset.
