Hardware Test Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded organization that is revolutionizing satellite, Bluetooth, and IoT connectivity in remote areas. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team based in Seattle, with hybrid work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive reliability test strategies and identify root causes of system errors and variance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure product reliability from design through manufacturing and operational use in space
- Build and execute rigorous test protocols, analyze failure data, and improve system resilience to harsh conditions such as radiation, thermal cycling, and mechanical stresses
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, provide technical guidance to the team, and establish best practices for reliability and test engineering within the organization
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering, Aerospace engineering, Computer science or a related field
- Strong experience and understanding of the Aerospace industry
- Experience in design, testing, and debugging of PCBAs, electronics reliability, and failure mechanisms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++ for data analysis and test automation
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions
- Thorough understanding of metrology, sources of measurement error, and uncertainty analysis
- Experience with environmental testing such as thermal, vibration, and TVAC
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly cross-functional role
