Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate engineering change requests and item master and BOM maintenance.
  • Support Sales order configuration, process and product implementation, and build out analysis.
  • Develop and calculate material burn downs and target dates for changes.
  • Coordinate data and production acknowledgment/approval of change.
  • Coordinate translation of engineering documentation into the ERP system.
  • Coordinate production implementation, pilot builds, rework, and inventory transfers.
  • Ensure all related paperwork and materials are current and properly filed/stored.
  • Maintain and update process workflow(s).
  • Coordinate and direct Change Board meetings.
  • Coordinate and maintain revision control of engineering documentation.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate resources to release engineering data to 3rd party service portal and ERP system.
  • Develop, document, graph, maintain, and report numerous metrics of production engineering activities.

Requirements:

  • One or more years working within an ERP system.
  • Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compile build out plans and calculate target dates.
  • Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business.
  • Effective relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISO 9001:2015 experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Detailed and demonstrated knowledge with project management software.
  • An understanding of material debits and credits through the value stream.

Physical Requirements:

Mobility to work in an office and factory setting, including use of standard office equipment.

Comfortable working directly in a manufacturing facility and adhering to PPE requirements.

Some travel may be required.

Reporting: This position reports to the Production Engineer Manager without direct reports.

Salary Range: $23-$36 per hour.
