Role Overview

In this position, you will collaborate with your team to formulate testing strategies by utilizing project documentation and conducting thorough discussions with architects and development leaders. Your focus will be on ensuring that the applications' capacity and stability align with production deployment requirements. You will also assist in establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for various platform components and effectively communicate performance testing outcomes while identifying improvement opportunities with stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of an automated performance testing suite for different platform components.

Required Expertise

  • Proven experience in collaborating with large-scale engineering teams to define and implement performance testing strategies.
  • Expertise in establishing core design principles for constructing scalable applications on cloud infrastructures such as AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of middleware Java stack, Oracle, messaging technologies, and web containers.
  • Experience in a dynamic Agile software delivery environment, with familiarity in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

Essential Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities and significant troubleshooting experience related to performance throughput challenges.
  • Experience with enterprise-level cloud-enabled distributed systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, internet principles, and statistical data analysis.
  • Capability to pinpoint application bottlenecks and assist engineers in enhancing application performance and minimizing latency.
  • Extensive experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk.
