Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in implementing treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement skilled interventions to maximize the potential of each child, including speech therapy services in the home and community.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and families to develop skills to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine.
  • Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with physician orders.
  • Document patient care services and care coordination in our electronic medical record system.
Requirements:
  • ASHA certification
  • State License
  • Current CPR certification
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
