Speech Language Pathologist - Contract Position

The Sigma Healthcare Team is actively seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide onsite services for our healthcare facility.

Role Overview:
  • We are in search of a compassionate and skilled Speech Pathologist who is committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. The role involves conducting assessments, creating individualized therapy plans, and implementing treatment strategies to enhance patients' speech capabilities. A deep understanding of speech-related disorders and therapeutic approaches is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility in adapting treatment plans to meet the diverse needs of our patient population, showcasing qualities such as empathy, analytical thinking, and resourcefulness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out the fundamental duties and responsibilities of a Speech Language Pathologist, which include evaluating patients, establishing treatment goals, executing speech therapy interventions, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
  • Administer speech therapy modalities and adhere to departmental protocols.
  • Ensure timely and precise documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols in all aspects of practice.
  • Take initiative for ongoing professional development and education.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program is mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Texas.
