Position Summary:

USA Gomobile Inc is in search of a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to oversee and enhance inventory processes within our operational framework. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and implementing effective control measures to support our production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Manage the complete inventory lifecycle for vehicle upfitting components, including parts and materials.
    • Ensure precise inventory documentation through the use of advanced inventory management systems.
    • Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to address discrepancies.
    • Establish and uphold inventory control protocols and systems.
    • Evaluate inventory metrics and turnover rates to pinpoint areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with procurement and production teams to anticipate demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Supplier Coordination:
    • Engage with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and accurate order processing.
    • Oversee the management of returns and damaged goods.
    • Address and resolve inventory-related challenges with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Regularly assess and refine inventory management processes.
    • Adopt best practices to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
    • Formulate and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Leverage inventory management software to create reports and analyze inventory trends.
    • Identify patterns in inventory flow to guide strategic decisions.
    • Calculate holding costs and propose cost-reduction strategies.
  • Warehouse Collaboration:
    • Partner with warehouse staff to maximize inventory organization and storage.
    • Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory items.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing or production context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
