Overview:
BCforward is seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for supporting our innovative projects and ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory activities.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and manage laboratory experiments focusing on liquid cooling systems.
2. Develop and implement temperature regulation systems to maintain precise thermal conditions.
3. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to design and execute experimental frameworks.
4. Conduct testing, measurements, and data collection during laboratory procedures.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cooling systems and software integration.
6. Create software applications to enhance temperature control and data acquisition processes.
7. Oversee laboratory inventory, including procurement, organization, and tracking of supplies and equipment.
8. Maintain safety protocols, particularly in handling refrigerants, in compliance with EPA 608 certification standards.
9. Document experimental methodologies, observations, and results accurately and promptly.
10. Stay informed about advancements in liquid cooling technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
- Proven experience in laboratory experiment setup and liquid cooling systems.
- Strong understanding of temperature control systems and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in software development and coding.
- Experience in managing laboratory inventory effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in developing software applications for laboratory automation.
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques and laboratory safety regulations.
