Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Hospice House/Inpatient Care professional to join our team at Ohio's Hospice. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care to patients in our inpatient unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a peaceful and dignified end-of-life experience.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in hospice and palliative care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the State of Ohio.
  • At least two years of acute care nursing experience, with a preference for experience in hospice and palliative care.
  • Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (CHPN) is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather, with a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
