Job Overview
The Electronic Warfare Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the upkeep and operation of electronic systems. This role requires applying technical expertise to execute routine tasks by adhering to comprehensive instructions.

Key responsibilities include replacing components, wiring circuits, and conducting repairs on basic electronic devices. The technician will also perform testing using standard instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.

The technician operates under supervision and receives necessary technical support from supervisors or more experienced technicians. Work is subject to verification for precision. This position involves organization and intermediate-level repairs under guidance, as well as corrosion control on equipment and towers. Technicians are expected to be cross-trained and qualified to operate at least one additional electronic warfare system. Maintenance actions must be documented appropriately.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Assigned Senior Technician or Supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to fulfill operational objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic maintenance is required, or 2 years of formal technical training may substitute for experience. Relevant areas include: - Digital/Analog signal processing
  • Synchroservo circuits
  • Radar and Radar Theory
  • Electromechanical devices
  • Video signal processing and recording
  • Communications equipment
  • Digital/Analog computer systems
  • High Voltage power supplies
  • Testing equipment
  • Optical systems
  • RF signal processing
  • Antenna systems
  • Low-voltage AC equipment
  • Autotransfer (UPS) systems
  • Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Compensation: $27.16/hour

Essential Skills and Certifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Must hold current RF Radiation Awareness certification
  • Eligibility for current COMSEC certification
  • Maintain Laser Safety certification
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions
  • U.S. Citizenship with no dual citizenship
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain it throughout employment
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination, along with periodic retests
  • Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for assigned tasks
  • Must meet the physical demands necessary to perform the outlined operations
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
