Service Operations Leader

Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company is currently seeking a Service Operations Leader to oversee, coordinate, and enhance the daily functions of our service line team. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective use of equipment, driving operational improvements at job sites, and maintaining accurate documentation related to all tasks performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Review work orders to ensure all necessary equipment is ready and functional before commencing tasks.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and work areas prior to job initiation.
  • Address any issues that could lead to accidents, injuries, or non-compliance with client specifications.
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Complete all required documentation, including service receipts, and submit them to management.
  • Train junior technicians in equipment handling and service line operations.
  • Operate all necessary equipment safely and in accordance with training and safety guidelines.
  • Implement safety procedures consistently during all operations.
  • Provide industrial services using established techniques and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in manual tasks such as cleaning, installing, and repairing various equipment components.
  • Understand equipment maintenance requirements and perform necessary upkeep.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
  • Check equipment functionality at the beginning of each shift.
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure adherence to company safety policies.
  • Meet project deadlines while effectively utilizing available resources.
  • Guide and support crew members in fulfilling job responsibilities according to client and company standards.
  • Enforce company policies and take necessary actions regarding employee conduct.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicles in line with all applicable regulations.
  • Follow corporate operational guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule.
  • Participate in site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Possess experience in environmental field services, construction, or related industries.
  • Be prepared for occasional overnight travel.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be capable of performing physical job functions.
  • Successfully complete background checks and drug testing as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial emergency response and Hazmat clean-up.
  • Experience supervising work in confined spaces.
