Unlocking Independence: Become a Youth Transition Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Youth Transition Program, empowering young individuals with disabilities to achieve independence and success in the workforce.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled manager to oversee the delivery of transition services to students and young adults, building strong relationships with schools, state agencies, and families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective programs, managing program revenue and expenses, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee statewide transition services, including school contracts, grants, and DVRS Pre-ETS Services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with DVRS counselors, school districts, high school transition teams, and college disability services personnel.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for youth programs, promoting transitions to successful post-secondary placement.
  • Manage and support the Supported Employment team in identifying resources to support vocational goals for youth.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts, initial assessments, intake process, and job placement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or education, with at least two years of experience in Transition Services or an educational setting.
  • Minimum one year of management experience.
  • Experience providing individual and group-based Pre-ETS 5 core services to youth/young adults with disabilities between 14-24 years old.
  • Excellent writing skills and effective communication skills, ability to work with confidential information.
  • Must meet strict deadlines, be organized, and able to multitask and problem-solve.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 403(b) Retirement Plan, and more.
