About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures to protect against cyber threats
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
  • Implement security controls and countermeasures to prevent unauthorized access
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security, technical support, professional services, or systems administration
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • 1+ years of experience with general networking and Linux endpoints
  • Experience with cloud security tools and technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CISSP, AZ900, or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with serverless cloud architecture and containerization
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, PKI / Certificates, and VPN including IPSec / SSL
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Compliance certification such as Security+, CCNA Security, GSEC, or related certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154, annualized USD.
