Key Responsibilities:

This role is a DevOps position within the Atlassian Suite Cloud Service "HUB" Team. The successful candidate will collaborate with a global team to deliver engineering, development, and subject matter expert support for the Atlassian Cloud suite, focusing on Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. Responsibilities include:

  • Act as an internal expert on the implementation, management, and support of products and plugins across the Atlassian Suite.
  • Advise end users and leadership on best practices and standardization for utilizing processes within the Atlassian Suite.
  • Design, engineer, support, and enforce platform standards in a HUB/Spoke governance model for Atlassian products and cloud services.
  • Create and maintain both technical and customer-facing documentation on key Hub and Spoke configurations, site relationships, and essential support information.
  • Promote integrations between tools within the Atlassian Cloud suite and external systems as necessary.
  • Provide advanced support to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and resolve product-related challenges.
  • Implement new tools and processes to facilitate effective use of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) in support of Spoke customers.
  • Define and uphold Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans, ensuring compliance with Cyber Security Policies.
  • Represent the Atlassian Hub Service team in the Ford Atlassian Center for Enablement alongside each of the PDO "Spoke" Teams.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse application, engineering, and support teams.
  • Be available for occasional weekend and after-hours work to implement software upgrades and support application launches as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Atlassian Cloud Suite and its features.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the administration, configuration, development, and support of Atlassian cloud products in a large-scale enterprise environment, including:
  • JIRA Software, add-ons, associated plugins, and extensions.
  • Jira Service Management.
  • Confluence.
  • Compass.
  • Atlas.
  • Jira Align.
  • Jira Product Discovery.
  • Jira Automation.
  • REST API, Python, and advanced JQL experience.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders for user requirement gathering, problem identification, and functional design analysis.
  • Familiarity with software product development, implementation, and change management processes.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes supporting Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
