Aircraft Maintenance Inspector

HQ Aero is actively seeking skilled Aircraft Maintenance Inspectors.
Position Overview:The Aircraft Maintenance Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that aircraft are serviced in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturer guidelines. This position entails evaluating workmanship, materials, standards, and procedures of the organization's maintenance operations and reporting any inconsistencies to the Chief Inspector.
Essential Qualifications:- Possession of a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics License, along with current FAA Inspection Authorization or eligibility to obtain it.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation sector.
- Experience with general aviation, including business jets, turboprop, and piston aircraft.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations and inspection techniques.
- Proven integrity, dedication to quality, and safety in all maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
- Must have necessary tools and a valid driver's license.
- Undergo a Criminal Background Check and comply with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening requirements.
- At least two years of inspection experience is highly preferred.
- Ensure that maintenance and modifications adhere to FAA 145 Repair Station Regulations.
- Conduct inspections according to job cards, maintenance manuals, and Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
- Review documentation for compliance with the Repair Station Manual.
- Support personnel operating under the Repair Station certificate.
- Report potential risks to the Chief Inspector and ensure tools are calibrated.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and FAA representatives.
- Maintain a tidy work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Exhibit punctuality and readiness for scheduled work hours.
