About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Inspector to join our team at HQ Aero Management Inc. As an Aviation Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Review and verify maintenance records, including work orders, parts tags, and log pages, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or non-compliance issues to the Chief Inspector.
  • Train and assist maintenance personnel in performing inspections and related functions.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and alterations performed by our repair station are in accordance with the Ratings and Operations Specifications of the FAA 145 Repair Station.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector.
Requirements
  • Active and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics License with current FAA Inspection Authorization or eligible to acquire FAA Inspection Authorization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience, with a strong background in aircraft maintenance and inspection.
  • General Aviation experience to include business jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft experience.
  • Proven track record of consistent performance while delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated record of integrity and sound ethical judgment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to professionally communicate with customers.
  • Possess adequate tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Criminal Background Check and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of inspection experience is strongly preferred.
Working Conditions

The Aviation Inspector will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to aircraft maintenance activities. The successful candidate must be able to lift equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds and be able to climb ladders and move around the shop/hangar area and within aircraft continuously throughout the workday.
