Avionics Technician

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team at HQ Aero Management Inc. as an Aircraft Systems Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, inspection, and installation of aircraft FMS, Autopilots, and other avionics systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft avionics systems, including FMS and Autopilot systems.
• Inspect and test avionics systems to ensure proper function and compliance with safety regulations.
• Install and integrate new avionics systems, including wiring and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with avionics systems, including wiring and electrical problems.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems.

• A&P or FCC License is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Avionics experience on a mix of helicopter, military, regional, and/or commercial aircraft experience is required.
• Experience on Boeing 737, 767, and Airbus aircraft is preferred.
• A written skills test will be administered on the first day.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Standard Aviation Tool Kit and Etched Tools required.
• Criminal Background checks & Compliant with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be able to lift equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders, apply finger and hand dexterity in using hand tools, and be able to move around the shop/hangar area and within aircraft continuously throughout the workday.
