About This Role:

As an HVAC Lead Installer, you will be responsible for leading your installation team and executing professional install jobs. You will work hands-on with your crew, installing a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ensuring proper installation, safety, and high standards of Degree Heating & Cooling while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of those heating, air conditioning, and ventilation units
  • Mentor and train apprentices on the job and provide them with learning opportunities
  • Diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer's recommendations
  • Provide excellent customer service abilities in dealing with customers to resolve technical, logistical, and scheduling issues

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of field experience
  • Active Driver's License
  • Tech Savvy - The ability to use tablets and learn work-related software with ease
  • Verifiable experience to develop quotations for repairs and installations of replacement equipment
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
  • Proven ability in installing, replacing, and serving HVAC systems in new residential and commercial properties
  • Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or on-call shifts when needed
