About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASIC Design Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA. As a key member of our GPU Design team, you will be responsible for implementing, documenting, and delivering high-performance, area, and power-efficient RTL to achieve design targets and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and deliver high-performance RTL designs for GPU and other ASICs.
  • Analyze architectural trade-offs based on features, performance requirements, and system limitations.
  • Craft micro-architecture, implement in RTL, and deliver a fully verified, synthesis/timing clean design.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, verification teams, synthesis, timing, and back-end teams to accomplish tasks.
  • Work on a broad list of IPs, including GPU work schedulers, time distribution systems, interrupt controllers, and DMA engines.
  • Architect features to support silicon debug and post-silicon validation activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of meaningful work experience in ASIC design and development.
  • Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development (Verilog), focused on arbiters, scheduling, synchronization, and bus protocols.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC design flow, including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, and timing analysis.
  • Exposure to Digital systems and VLSI design, Computer Architecture, and Computer Arithmetic is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong C/C++, Python, or Perl skills.
  • Good debugging and analytical skills.

The base salary range for this position is $164,000 - $304,750 USD, and your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and other benefits.
