Job Overview

As a Senior Technical Claims Specialist at General Search & Recruitment, you will play a critical role in handling complex claims and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in claims resolution and negotiation will be essential in resolving third-party commercial general liability and automobile bodily injury and property damage claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Handling and Negotiation: Handle, negotiate, and resolve claims in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Investigations and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and analyze claims data to determine the best course of action.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, external parties, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless claim resolution.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim-related activities, including contacts, statements, and details.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge of medical terms, treatments, and injury descriptions, as well as familiarity with contractual risk transfer concepts and anti-indemnity laws.
Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years of multi-line experience, including handling high-severity bodily injury claims.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current Texas claims adjuster license; additional licenses are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong negotiation and settlement skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of customer service.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000
  • Eligible for Annual Discretionary Bonus
